The name Shafa Shufu takes its name from the Cantonese way of saying “comfy sofa” — a nod to comfort, ease, and the soft joy of being together.
A little cheeky, a little chic (blame the French lilt), and very much us.
In 2025, Dreams & Dreams brings its latest creation — Shafa Shufu — to life at Soho House Hong Kong.
Part living room, part dance floor, part soul salon, Shafa Shufu is a monthly gathering of 300+ like-minded strangers and future friends. Think good music, real energy, and a soft spot for honesty.
The first 8 editions will call Soho House home — before Shafa Shufu goes global: Lisbon, Ibiza, Tokyo, Berlin, Bangkok… wherever the shafa feels right.
